SUPREME COURT LIBRARY


NOTICE

The Supreme Court Library may be used during the usual office hours by the following:

An advocate and solicitor holding a current practising certificate;



A State Prosecutor;



An officer nominated by any of the government departments;



Any other person with the prior approval of the Librarian or the Chief Registrar.


RULES

Smoking is prohibited in the Library.



Briefcases or Bags of any description are not permitted to be taken inside the Library.



Library books are not to be taken out of the Library for any purpose, except where a book is required for use in Court. In such a case a written request (copies of which are available in the Library and all Courts) is to be made to the Librarian.



If a book taken under the preceding rule remains outstanding against the borrower for a minimum period of ten days, it shall be presumed to have been lost and an appropriate replacement charge will be raised against the borrower.



Books are not to be marked nor pages torn or pulled out or in any other manner mutilated. Such conduct may result in the full replacement cost for the book having to be paid by the person responsible.



PHOTOCOPY

Photo-copying facilities are available at a reasonable fee.

Judgments of the Court - $4.00 per page

Book Reference - $2.00 per page
