What type of documents can be translated?

Apart from doing translations for inter-departmental purposes, we also accept various types of documents for translation and or certificate of translation which pertain to Court cases such as documents from other government departments e.g. The Attorney General's Chambers, Syariah Court, Royal Brunei Police Force, Narcotics Control Bureau, Custom and Excise Department, Immigration depart etc. private law firms and foreign embassies. All these documents are translated and certified to be used in Court proceedings.

 

Can private individuals have their documents translated? 

We generally do not accept documents to be translated from private individuals for private purposes. However, we will accept certain official documents which need to be certified by the Court and embossed with the Court seal to be recognized and submitted in foreign jurisdictions such as Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Divorce Certificates, Personal Academic Certificates, Identity Card and official documents/certificates from other government departments.

 

How much does it cost?

Translation per translated page                                              -           $20.00

Certification of translation (per page)                                      -           $20.00 

Translation and Certification of translation per page                  -           $40.00
